Individual Components of Disassembled Dual Clutch

CAUTION:
- This illustration is only an overview of the components. The dual clutch must not be disassembled at this time since all clutch plates were installed balanced to each other.
- If the drive plate is loosened, the clutch discs in the dual clutch can slip out of place and the dual clutch may not be properly set then during installation.

- Outer clutch plate carrier

- Inner Clutch Plate Carrier
- Do not removeCAUTION:
Do not lift or remove the inner clutch plate carrier under any circumstances. The clutch plates could rotate themselves.

- Thrust Washer
- Circlip
- If the circlip was removed in order to reinsert the plates, it should be replaced with a new ring of the same thickness.
- Circlip
- After installing a new dual clutch, redetermine the thickness. Refer to Identifying the Circlip for the Dual Clutch .
- Drive Plate

- Replace after removing
- Do not install any wavy circlips
