Oil Pan Lower Section, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION .

-- Remove the right front wheel housing liners. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Release and remove the connector -arrow- from the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-.

-- Loosen the fasteners -arrows- and remove the noise insulation -1-.

-- Drain the engine oil.

-- Loosen and remove bolts -1 through 20- diagonally.

-- Screw In A Bolt For The Oil Pan Lower Section Eight Turns At The Threaded Hole -Arrow-. 

NOTE:

At approximately eight turns the bonding loosens audibly.

Do not install the bolts with great force.

If the bolts are installed too far, it may deform the oil pan lower section.

Do not bend when loosening the oil pan lower section bonding.

-- Insert the :T10383/2  at the loosened position -arrow-.

-- Place the opening on the :T10383/2  on the bolt.

-- Carefully drive in the wedge with a plastic mallet.

-- Carefully loosen the oil pan lower section from the bond.

-- Move the :T10383/2  and loosen the bonding on the other positions.
