Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE:

Check For Damage On The Sealing Surfaces (Biting Edge Seal) And Threads On The Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247-. If The Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- Is Ok After Checking It, It May Be Reused. 

Check the sealing surface on the high pressure reservoir opening.

Coat the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- threads and biting edge with diesel fuel.

-- Tighten the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- by hand.

-- Then tighten the Fuel Pressure Sensor -G247- to specification.

-- Fill/bleed the fuel system. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM, FILLING/BLEEDING .

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
