- Hose Clip Pliers :VAS6362
Removing
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Place a cloth near the high pressure pump to catch dripping fuel.
WARNING:
The fuel line is under pressure.
Fuel poses a risk of injury to the eyes and skin.
Wear protective eyewear and protective clothing to avoid injury and contact with skin. Place a cleaning cloth around the connection point before loosening hose connections. Carefully open the connection point to release the pressure.
-- Unclip the fuel line -5- from the bracket -arrow-.
-- Release and disconnect the connector -4-.
-- Loosen the clamps -2-.
-- Remove the fuel lines -3 and 5-.
