Differential Pressure Sensor -G505-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

NOTE:

Before installing, clean the control lines leading from the Differential Pressure Sensor -G505- to the particulate filter with compressed air to make sure they are not plugged or iced over with condensation water.

Check the hose for secure fit and leaks.

Secure all hose connections with standard production hose clamps.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

An adaptation must be performed after replacing the Differential Pressure Sensor -G505- and/or particulate filter. At the same time the adaptation values are reset. The adaptation is described under the Guided Functions  , use a Vehicle Diagnostic Tester for this.
