Fuel Injectors, Removing And Installing: Removing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the noise insulation.

-- Disconnect the return line connections on the fuel injectors, to do so push the releases upward in direction of -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrows- from fuel injectors.

NOTE:

The tensioning claw always secures two fuel injectors and can only be removed when both fuel injectors are >>pulled<<.

-- Remove the union nuts for each high pressure line -1 through 4- and remove the respective high pressure lines.

-- Seal off all open lines and connections with clean blind plugs.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Position the :T10055  with the :T10415  as shown and remove the fuel injectors upward.

-- Before removing the fuel injector separate the tensioning claw.

NOTE:

Remove the fuel injector with a turning motion in order to avoid damaging the sealing lip.

-- Place the removed fuel injectors on a clean cloth.
