- Can be carefully pried off a plastic or leather shift knob
- Gearshift Knob

- The shift knob and boot cannot be separated from each other.
- Always replace together
- Removing and Installing. Refer to GEARSHIFT KNOB, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Clamp
- For securing the shift knob to the shift lever
- Secure on the gearshift knob -item OVERVIEW - GEARSHIFT KNOB AND COVER- using Hose Clamp Pliers :VAG1275 .
- Replace after removing
- Center Control Cover
- Combined in one piece with the upper center console section on some versions
- Noise Insulation
- not on all vehicles
- Arrow on noise insulation points in direction of travel
- Retaining tab spacing varies
- Therefore can only be arranged in one position
