Overview - Oil Pan/Oil Pump

NOTE:
If large quantities of metal shavings or other deposits such as those caused by partial seizure of the crankshaft or connecting rod damage are found in the engine oil, clean the oil channels thoroughly and replace the engine oil cooler to prevent further damage.

- Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- O-ring
- Coat with engine oil
- Not available separately, part of Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-
- Replace Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266- if O-ring is damaged.
- Oil Drain Plug/Plug
- Sheet metal oil pan: 30 Nm
- Plastic oil pan: turn all the way using a flat-head screwdriver or a coin
- Seal/O-ring
- Replace after removing
- Oil Pan Lower Section
- Removing and installing. Refer to OIL PAN LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Coat with engine oil
- Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- 8 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
- Oil Pump Bolt
- 8 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
- Oil Intake Pipe Bolt
- 4 Nm +45°
- Replace after removing
- Oil Pan Bolt
- Replace after removing
- Tightening sequence. Refer to Fig 2
NOTE:
Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.
-- Tighten the bolts -1 through 20- in two stages in the sequence shown:

NOTE:
Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.
