Clamping Sleeve Installation Position: Procedure

• Installed dimension -a- is approximately 1 cm

Clamping Sleeve -A- With Two Individual Clamps. 

Tightening specification: 25 Nm

Installation dimension -a- 5 mm (only for front clamping sleeve)

Clamping Sleeve -B- With Continuous Clamp. 

Tightening specification: 35 Nm

-- Install the clamping sleeve so that the bolt end -arrow- does not project beyond the lower edge of clamping sleeve.

• Threaded connection points toward the right.

Rear Clamping Sleeve Installation Position

-- Disconnect the exhaust pipe at the separating point -arrow 2- with the :VAS6254  or :VAS6780  .

-- When installing, position the clamping sleeve -4- on side markings arrows -1 and 3-.

-- Install the clamping sleeve so that the bolt end does not project beyond the lower edge of the double clamp -arrow-.

-- Align the exhaust system free of tension.

Clamping sleeve -B- with continuous clamp.

Tightening specification: 35 Nm
