EGR Valve 2 -GX6-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING [CVCA, CUUA, CUUB, DELA, DEBA, DEJA, DGMA]: Removing

NOTE:

The EGR motor is protected from heat damage by a heat shield. If the heat shield mat is damaged, it must be replaced and the adjustment motor must be checked for heat damage and replaced if necessary.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION . .

-- Remove the nut -3- and the bolt -2-.

-- Push the coolant pipe slightly to the side.

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -3-.

-- Remove the connecting hose -1- between the turbocharger and the EGR cooler.

-- Open the heat shield boots.

-- Remove the bolts -3- and remove the EGR Valve 2 -GX6-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -2-.
