Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required
- Flywheel Lock Adapter :VW558
- Depth Gauge
- Hex bolt M 87 x 40 and hex nut M 8
-- Remove the transmission. Refer to TRANSMISSION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (09G) .
Flywheel Lock Adapter :VW558 , Preparing:
-- Tighten the M 8 x 40 hex bolt -A- using a hex nut on the :VW558 .
Drive Plate, Loosening And Tightening
-- Insert the :VW558 into the cylinder block and drive plate as shown.
Counterhold tool installation position: -A- to loosen, -B- to tighten.
