Ribbed Belt, Removing And Installing, Vehicles Without A/C Compressor: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

Different decoupling belt pulleys -A and B- could be installed depending on the type and version of the generator.

Allocate the length of the ribbed belt based on the version of the generator decoupling belt pulley.

-- Position The Ribbed Belt As Shown 

  1. Vibration Damper
  2. Ribbed Belt Tensioner
  3. Generator

-- Turn the tensioner in the direction of -arrow- and remove the :T10060A  .

-- Release the tension on the tensioner.

-- Check whether the ribbed belt is routed correctly.

-- Start the engine and check whether the ribbed belt runs correctly.
