Overview - Ribbed Belt Drive, Vehicles With A/C Compressor

- Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Do not kink
- Allocate the length of the ribbed belt based on the version of the generator decoupling belt pulley.
- Ribbed belt routing. Refer to Installing .
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT A/C COMPRESSOR .
- Bolt
- 150 Nm +180°
- Replace after removing.
- Vibration Damper
- Removing and installing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Ribbed Belt Tensioner
- To release the tension on the ribbed belt, pivot using a socket.
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 20 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing.
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to GENERATOR .
- Generator
- Removing and installing. Refer to GENERATOR .
- With freewheel
- Different decoupling belt pulleys -A and B- could be installed depending on the type and version of the generator. Refer to Different Belt Pulleys .
- Alignment Sleeve
- For the A/C compressor
- A/C Compressor
- Do not remove or disconnect the refrigerant lines
- Removing and installing. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR .
