Transmission Mount, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

Risk of damaging threads in transmission support by inserting bolts at an angle.

-- The transmission support and the transmission support arm must be absolutely parallel to each other before installing the bolts. Push the rear of the transmission upward using a floor jack if necessary.

-- Secure the transmission support to the longitudinal member.

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.

-- Lift the transmission using the engine support bridge spindle until the transmission support touches the support arm.

-- Check the adjustment of the subframe mount. Refer to SUBFRAME MOUNT, CHECKING ADJUSTMENT .

-- Remove the :10-222A from the engine.
