Fan Shroud, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Loosen the spring clamps -3- and remove the intake hose -1-.

-- Unclip the intake air duct cover -2- -arrows- and remove it.

-- Press the retainers on the intake air duct lower section and remove the intake air duct to the rear.

-- Remove the air duct bolts on the lock carrier -arrows- and remove the air duct -1-.

CAUTION:

- Do not reach into the radiator fan when disconnecting the connector.

-- Remove the bolts -1- from the top.

NOTE:

The left bolt is under the coolant connector.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -2- from below and remove the fan shroud downward.
