Connection Diagram - Coolant Hoses

NOTE:

The arrows show the coolant flow direction.

The arrows on the coolant pipes and the ends of the hoses must align.

  1. Coolant Expansion Tank
  2. Cap
  3. Cylinder Head/Cylinder Block
    • Fill with coolant after replacing. Refer to Filling .
  4. Engine Preheating Element -Z97-
    • Not Installed
  5. Turbocharger
  6. Integrated Exhaust Manifold
  7. Heater Core for the Heater
    • Fill with coolant after replacing. Refer to Filling .
  8. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-
  9. Coolant Pump
    • With the coolant thermostat housing
  10. Engine Oil Cooler
  11. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor on Radiator Outlet -G83-
  12. Radiator
    • Fill with coolant after replacing. Refer to Filling .
  13. Charge Air Cooling Pump -V188-
  14. Charge Air Cooling Circuit Cooler
    • Fill with coolant after replacing. Refer to Filling .
  15. Charge Air Cooler Inside the Intake Manifold
    • Fill with coolant after replacing. Refer to Filling .
  16. Parking Heater
    • Optional equipment
