- After replacing, replace entire amount of coolant.

- Check for distortion, refer to Fig 2
- Resurfacing sealing surfaces, refer to Figure
- Removing and installing, refer to CYLINDER HEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- After replacing, replace entire amount of coolant.
- Oil Separator
- Cylinder Head Cover Gasket
- Replace if damaged.
- Before mounting, coat the bearing cap/cylinder head transition areas with D 454 300 A2

- Permissible distortion: 0.1 mm
Minimum distance of the linear surface: 100 mm
