Hood Latch, Adjusting

NOTE:

The figure shows the latch removed, but it actually remains installed.

-- Remove the radiator grille for vehicles through 01/2011, refer to RADIATOR GRILLE THROUGH 01/2011 or vehicles from 01/2011, refer to RADIATOR GRILLE FROM 01/2011 .

-- Loosen but do not remove the bolts -3 and 4-. Now the gap -arrow b- and the height -arrow a- of the hood can be corrected or adjusted

-- Tighten the bolts -3 and 4- to the tightening specification: 12 Nm.

-- Striker pin, adjusting, refer to STRIKER PIN, ADJUSTING .
