Rear Lid Striker Pin, Adjusting

NOTE:

By loosening the bolts -1-, the catch -2- can be slid into the larger openings.

Adjust the striker pin -2- so that the rear lid lock recess with the rotary latch engages with the center of the striker pin -2-.

-- Remove the lock carrier cover, refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Loosen the bolts -1-, but do not remove them.

-- Move the rear lid catch -2- into the upper position and tighten the bolts -1-.

-- Lock the rear lid and check the adjustment.

-- Tighten the bolts -1- to the tightening specification: 18 Nm.
