Cylinder Head: Notes

NOTE:

If a replacement cylinder is installed with a mounted camshaft: Before assembling, coat the contact surfaces between the valve lifters and the cam running surfaces of the cylinder head cover with oil.

The plastic protectors installed to protect the open valves must only be removed immediately before mounting the cylinder head.

Replace all the engine coolant if the cylinder head is replaced.

Intake manifold with fuel rail, removing and installing, refer to INTAKE MANIFOLD WITH FUEL RAIL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
