Striker, Adjusting

NOTE:

Loosen the bolts -1- and move the striker -2- inside the oversized holes in direction of -a arrows- and in direction of -b arrows-.

Adjust the striker -2- so that the recess for the rear lid lock engages with the center of the striker -2-.

Perform the following: 

-- Remove the cover for the striker inside the lock carrier cover.

-- Loosen the bolts -1-.

-- Move the rear lid catch -2- into the upper position and tighten the bolts -1-.

-- Lock the rear lid and check the adjustment.

Tightening specification for bolts -1- : 18 Nm
