Overview - Instrument Panel Central Tube

NOTE:

It may be helpful to make drawings or take photos of any wires that are going to be loosened, removed and then installed. This assures the wires will be reconnected correctly.

Instrument Panel Central Tube, USA
- Removing and installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTRAL TUBE .
Front Passenger Side Deformation Element
- Only USA
- Bolted to the instrument panel
- Removing and installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL DEFORMATION ELEMENT, USA .
Mount with Extensor
- Instrument panel central tube bracket on the front passenger side; bolted to the A-pillar
- The bracket can be used to align the instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, ALIGNING IN VEHICLE
- Removing and installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTRAL TUBE BRACKET .
Nut
- Tightening specification 20 Nm
- Instrument panel central tube nut to bracket, refer to -item 7- :Mount with Extensor
Bolt
- Tightening specification 20 Nm
- Instrument panel central tube bolt to center tunnel
- Quantity: 2
Threaded Plate
- Threaded plate for center tunnel bolts

- Tightening specification 20 Nm
- Instrument panel central tube bolt to center tunnel

- Instrument panel central tube bracket on the driver side; bolted to the A-pillar

- Removing and installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTRAL TUBE BRACKET .
Driver Side Deformation Element
- Only USA
- Secured to the instrument panel central tube
- Removing and installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL DEFORMATION ELEMENT, USA .
Center Deformation Element
- Only USA
- Bolted to the instrument panel
- Removing and installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL DEFORMATION ELEMENT, USA .
Bolt
- Tightening specification 20 Nm
- For the bracket, refer to -item 13- :Mount with Extensor to left A-pillar
- Quantity: 3
Instrument Panel Central Tube
- Removing and installing. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTRAL TUBE .

- Tightening specification 20 Nm
- For the bracket, refer to -item 7- :Mount with Extensor to right A-pillar
