Charge Air Cooler

-- Remove the bumper cover. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Unclip the left and right air guides from the lock carrier. Refer to "Lock Carrier" in Description and Operation .

-- Remove the charge air cooler mount bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the Air Conditioning (A/C) condenser bolts -arrows- from the charge air cooler.

-- Secure the A/C condenser with a cable tie to the lock carrier.

-- Remove the charge air cooler downward.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Hose connections and charge air system hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing. For connector couplings, the seal and sealing surfaces must only be lightly oiled. Refer to CHARGE AIR HOSE, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
