Wheel Bearing Housing Bonded Rubber Bushing: Removing

-- Remove the wheel.

-- Remove coil spring. Refer to COIL SPRING .

-- Remove wheel bearing/wheel hub unit. Refer to WHEEL BEARING AND WHEEL HUB .

-- Remove cover plate.

-- Remove threaded connection -arrow- for lower transverse link -1-.

Pressing Out Bonded Rubber Bushing 

-- Install special tools as shown in illustration.

  1. Nut 3346/3 
  2. 3301 
  3. Tube 3301/3 
  4. 41 - 501 
  5. Thrust piece 3350/1 
  6. Spindle 3346/2 

-- Turn the spindle and remove the bonded rubber bushing.

Pulling In Bonded Rubber Bushing 

-- Install special tools as shown in illustration.

  1. Nut 3346/3 
  2. 3301 
  3. 30 - 506 B 
  4. Bonded rubber mount 
  5. 3160 
  6. Thrust piece 3350/1 
  7. Spindle 3346/2 

-- Install bonded rubber bushing by turning support arm bearing installation tool.

NOTE:

Do not use lubricant!

Insert bearing with care so it is not canted.
