Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required

Internal dial gauge 50 - 100 mm

-- Measure bores at 3 locations in both directions -A- across engine and -B- in line with crankshaft. Deviation from nominal size: max. 0.10 mm.

NOTE:

Cylinder bore must not be measured if cylinder block is secured to engine stand with holding fixture VW 540, or else results may be incorrect.
