Fuel Pressure Regulator Valve -N276-, CHECKING

Observe the rules for cleanliness. Refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

Always follow these instructions before and during work.

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER .

-- Remove the noise insulation from the injectors.

-- Disconnect the fuel return line -1-.

-- Seal the open return line connection with a plug -1-.

-- Connect the return line -2- with a hose -3-.

-- Hold this hose -1- inside a suitable container -2- in order to measure the return quantity.

-- Start the engine and let it run at idle.

Specified value after 5 to 10 seconds: return quantity 0 ml

If the specified value is not attained, then the fuel pressure regulator valve is faulty.
