Charge Air Cooler

Removing 

-- Bring the lock carrier into the service position. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the bolt -2- for the charge air pipe -1- bracket.

-- Disconnect all the electrical connectors, which lead to the lock carrier and the components on the lock carrier.

-- Remove and support the condenser, charge air cooler and radiator with fan shroud off the lock carrier and support them.

-- Remove the charge air cooler bracket.

-- With a second technician, remove the T10093 from the longitudinal members and carefully remove the lock carrier -1-. While doing this, make sure that all the connections are disconnected.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the radiator mounts.

-- Remove the radiator from the charge air cooler and support it.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the condenser from the charge air cooler and support it.

-- Separate the condenser and the radiator from each other and remove the charge air cooler.

Installing 

Installation is performed in reverse order. When doing this note the following:

-- With a second technician, install the lock carrier -1-. While doing this, install the T10093 into the longitudinal member.
