Removal And Installation: Flywheel

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) V.A.G 1331
Crankshaft Adapter T03003
Locking Pin T40069

Removing

-- Remove the transmission. Refer to TRANSMISSION .

-- Lock the crankshaft. Refer to CRANKSHAFT, LOCKING .

-- Mark the flywheel to the engine.

-- Remove the bolts and the flywheel.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Tightening specification, refer to FLYWHEEL OVERVIEW .

-- Use new bolts.
