-- Remove left and right spray nozzles -6-. Refer to WINDSHIELD WASHER SPRAY NOZZLES

-- Unclip line -2- from hinge -3- and lid -5-.

-- Remove line -2- from opening of hood -5-.

-- Loosen hex nuts -1- at left and right (do not remove completely).

A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

-- Remove gas-filled strut -4- at hood -5- GAS STRUT

-- Remove hex nuts -1- only now and lift hood -5- from hinges -3-.

Installing

To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.

-- Tightening specifications: Hood hex head nut, 22 Nm

-- Adjust hood -1- HOOD, ADJUSTING

-- Route line -2- as shown by -arrow-. If line is installed twisted, the line is kinked.
