Work sequence

Work step: 1

Start engine and let idle for 35 seconds minimum.

Work step: 2

Test drive vehicle and maintain 2000 rpm in 3rd gear for 5 seconds, minimum.

Work step: 3

Accelerate from an engine speed of 2200 rpm (tachometer) to Wide Open Throttle in 2nd or 3rd gear for 8 seconds.

Work step: 4

Switch OFF the engine and wait at least 10 seconds
Repeat work steps 1, 2 and 3.
Display readiness code, see READINESS CODE, DISPLAYING .

If Readiness code still not OK

Check for malfunction in DTC memory and eliminate if necessary, see CHECK DTC MEMORY (SCAN TOOL FUNCTION 02) .
Check DTC memory again and then repeat work steps again.
