Special tools, testers and auxiliary items

NOTE: The VAG1552 scan tool can be used instead of VAG1551, but print-outs are only possible with VAG1551; VAG1552 does not have an on-board printer.

If the engine cannot be started:

If one or more DTCs are stored, they will be displayed and printed one after another.

NOTE: The scan tool is required for additional DTC checks, so leave the engine running and the scan tool connected.
