Leak Detection Pump, resistance checking

Disconnect 3-pin harness connector from LDP -V144-.
Set Fluke 83 multimeter to resistance.
Connect Fluke 83 multimeter between terminals -1- and -3- of Leak Detection Pump -V144- and measure resistance.
Specification: 640 to 720 ohms

Connect Fluke 83 multimeter between terminals -2- and -3- of LDP -V144- and measure resistance.
Specification: 12.5 to 19.5 ohms

If specifications not obtained:

Replace LDP -V144-.

If no malfunction in resistance was found:

Replace Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM) -J220-.
