Front Belt Latch

NOTE:
The following describes removing and installing the seat belt latch on the left seat. Removing and installing the right seat belt latch is identical.
Removal
-- Mount the VAS 6136 on the VAS 6095.
-- Remove front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT .
-- Attach the seat to the VAS 6136.
-- Position seat into rearmost seat position.
-- Disconnect wiring harness to seat frame seat belt latch.
-- Remove cover cap from seat rails.
-- Remove bolt -1- (20 Nm).
NOTE:
Bolt is micro-encapsulated and must be replaced after each loosening.
Before installing the new bolt, threads on nut must be cleaned, re-cut if necessary.
-- Pull seat belt latch -2- out of mount in seat rail -arrow-.
Installation
-- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
