Transmission To Engine Tightening Specifications - R32

For the following: R32

1. M12 Bolts - 80 Nm 
   • If the insert tool 18 mm -T10179- is used, then 65 Nm.
2. M10 Bolts - 40 Nm 
3. Arrows - Alignment Sleeves 

Driveshaft 

• Driveshaft heat shield to bevel box: 25 Nm
• Driveshaft to bevel box. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS .

-- Replace all the bolts for the transmission mount.

-- First, install all the new bolts by hand.

-- Then tighten the transmission mount bracket -A- to transmission bolts -1- to 40 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

-- When tightening the bolts -2-, the bracket can be pried into position with a screwdriver. Tightening specification for the bolts -2- : 60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.

Starter to transmission. Refer to STARTER [FOR ENGINE(S): BUB, CBRA] .

The subframe bolts must be replaced.

Subframe to body. Refer to Specifications .
