DSG R Electric/Electronic Components And Locations

The electric components are located in the transmission.

Only the selector lever sensor system control module -J587- and the shift lock solenoid -N110- are located on the selector lever.

1. DSG Transmission Mechatronic -J743- 
   • Behind the large metal cover.
   • Removing and installing, with the transmission installed. Refer to DSG TRANSMISSION MECHATRONIC -J743-, TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .
   • Removing and installing, with the transmission removed. Refer to DSG TRANSMISSION MECHATRONIC -J743-, TRANSMISSION REMOVED .
2. Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182- and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor -G509- 
   • The DSG R transmission Mechatronic must be removed first, before the sensor can be removed. Refer to DSG Transmission Mechatronic -J743-, TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .
