Removing

NOTE:

Before removing Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface, the work procedure DATA BUS ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC INTERFACE J533, REPLACE to read out the codes stored in the module must always be performed.

-- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

-- Remove cover in driver's side footwell. Refer to Storage Compartments, Covers and Trim in Removal and Installation .

-- Disengage harness connector -1- and disconnect it from Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface -2-.

-- Press mounting pins -3- together -arrows- and out of holes.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
