Main Fuse Box Overview

The starter battery is installed in the luggage compartment in the Golf R32. This requires an auxiliary main fuse box with battery cut-off.

  1. Nuts M5 
    • 5 Nm
  2. Power Bridges 
    • Power bridge to connect fuse and wire connection.
  3. Nuts M6 
    • 9 Nm
  4. Fuse 3 - Terminal 30 -S206- 
    • 30 amperes
  5. Cover 
    • Main fuse box cover
  6. Housing 
    • Main fuse box housing
  7. Connector 
  8. Nut M8 
    • 15 Nm
  9. Battery Interrupt Igniter -N253- 
  10. Nut M8 
    • 15 Nm
    • Self-locking
  11. Fuse 4 - Terminal 30 -S207- 
    • 5 amperes
  12. Cover 
    • Fuse 4 - terminal 30 -S207- cover
  13. Fuse 1 - Terminal 30 -S204- 
    • 125 amperes
  14. Fuse 2 - Terminal 30 -S205- 
    • 80 amperes
  15. Support Panel 
    • Fuse support panel
NOTE:

If battery cut-off is deployed, replace the battery interrupt igniter -N253-. Refer to BATTERY INTERRUPT IGNITER -N253- .
