Clutch Overview, LUK

Dual Mass Flywheel
- Removing and installing, refer to one of the following:
  Gas engines, refer to Removal and Installation , [For engine(s) BPY] Removal and Installation , or [For engine(s) CCTA, CBFA] Removal and Installation .
- Make sure it fits securely on the alignment pins.
- Keep the clutch lining contact surface free of grooves, oil and grease.
Clutch Disc
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
- Only replace together with the Self Adjusting Clutch (SAC) pressure plate.
- Installed position, refer to Figure.
SAC Pressure Plate
- SAC = "Self Adjusting Clutch"
- Only replace together with the clutch disc.
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
- Check the ends of the diaphragm spring. Refer to Figure.
- Check the spring and rivet connections. Refer to Figure.
Bolt
- M6 - 13 Nm
- M7 - 20 Nm
- Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
