Shift Mechanism With Lever

NOTE:

After installation, the selector lever cable movement must be checked and adjusted.

-- Remove the selector lever cable from the transmission. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE THROUGH 02.2009 .

-- Remove the center console. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Remove the selector lever cable from the transmission. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE THROUGH 02.2009 .

-- Remove the exhaust system components underneath the heat shield. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- Remove the heat shield under the selector mechanism.

-- Remove the 4 nuts on the selector mechanism from above.

Tightening specification for the nuts: 8 Nm

-- Remove the selector mechanism downward.

-- Check the selector lever cable after installing. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE THROUGH 02.2009, CHECKING .
