Coolant Hose Connection Diagram

  1. Expansion Tank
  2. Non Return Valve
    • Note the installed position.
    • Arrow on the check valve points in direction of flow.
  3. Non Return valve
    • integrated in the coolant hose, not visible from the outside.
  4. Heater Unit Heat Exchanger
    • Replace coolant after replacing.
  5. Engine Coolant Switch Off Valve (Heater) -N279-
    • Only on vehicles with optional equipment.
  6. Coolant Thermostat Housing
  7. Transmission Oil Cooler
  8. Lower coolant hose
  9. Upper Coolant Hose
  10. Radiator
  11. Oil Cooler
    • For the engine oil.
  12. After Run Coolant Pump -V51-
  13. Cylinder Block
  14. Coolant Pump
  15. Cylinder Head
  16. Auxiliary Heater
    • only on vehicles with optional equipment.
