Exhaust System, Installing

Procedure

-- Separate the exhaust system at the clamping sleeve -1-.

-- Align the clamping sleeve on the front exhaust pipe, allowing for dimension -a-. -Arrow- indicates the direction of vehicle travel. Dimension -a- = 5 mm.

-- Tighten the front clamping sleeve nuts to 25 Nm.

NOTE:

The clamping sleeve threaded connection faces to the right.

Pay attention to the clamping sleeve position, the ends of the bolts must not protrude beyond the lower edge of the clamping sleeve.

-- Then align the muffler, allowing for dimension -a- to the suspension. -Arrow- indicates the direction of vehicle travel. Dimension -a- = 7 to 9 mm.

-- Tighten the rear clamping sleeve nuts to 25 Nm.
