Camshaft adjustment, checking: Notes

Only vehicles with engine code AWP, AWW 

The camshaft adjustment is load and RPM dependent. The electrical valve for camshaft adjustment switches oil pressure onto camshaft adjuster (mechanical adjustment mechanisms), which adjusts the camshaft.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Connector test set V.A.G 1594C
• Speed Adjuster Tool V.A.G 1788/10
