Clutch Pedal Switch F36 , checking: Notes

The clutch vacuum vent valve switch F36 informs the control module when the clutch is being engaged or disengaged. This prevents the engine from jolting when disengaging and engaging and also prevents the engine from racing during disengaging operations when the cruise control system is on.
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
- Scan Tool (ST) VAG1551 (or Scan Tool (ST) VAG1552 ) with cable VAG1551/3 or cable VAG1551/1
- Test box VAG1598/31
- Hand multimeter VAG1526A or Multimeter VAG1715
- Adapter set VAG1594
