Crankshaft oil seal - belt pulley end, replacing: Removing

Remove crankshaft toothed belt pulley by counterholding toothed belt pulley with counterhold 3099.

NOTE:

When bolting on the counterhold place two washers between the toothed belt pulley and the counterhold.

To guide seal extractor, screw center bolt into crankshaft onto stop by hand.
Unscrew inner part of oil seal extractor 3203 two turns (approx. 3 mm) out of outer part and lock with knurled screw.

Lubricate threaded head of oil seal extractor, place in position and exert firm pressure - arrow - to screw it into oil seal as far as possible.
Loosen knurled screw and turn inner part against crankshaft until oil seal is pulled out.
