Clutch Overview, LUK

Dual mass flywheel
- Removing and installing, refer to one of the following:
  Diesel engines, refer to [For engine(s) BRM] Removal and Installation .
  
  Gas engines, refer to [For engine(s) BGP, BGQ, CBTA, CBUA] Removal and Installation .
- Make sure it fits securely on the alignment pins.
- Keep the clutch lining contact surface free of grooves, oil and grease.
Clutch Plate
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
- Only replace together with the Self Adjusting Clutch (SAC) pressure plate.
- Installed position, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
SAC Pressure Plate
- SAC = "Self Adjusting Clutch"
- Only replace together with the clutch plate.
- Removing and installing, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
- Check the ends of the diaphragm spring, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
- Checking the spring and rivet connections, refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
- Only check the position of the adjustment mechanism with new pressure plates. Refer to CLUTCH, LUK .
Bolt
- M6 = 13 Nm
- M7 = 20 Nm
- Loosen and tighten in small steps and in a diagonal sequence.
