Airbag control module -J 234-, removing and installing: Removing

Disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap → 27 BATTERY, STARTER, GENERATOR, CRUISE CONTROL
Remove trim/footwell - 5 -.

Swivel bracket - 2 - - opposite direction of arrow - and pull out connector - 3 - from control module - 1 -.
Unscrew nuts - 4 - (Qty. 3, (6 Nm)) and pull control module off studs.
