Lower Oil Pan Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification

Tighten the new bolts for the lower oil pan in 3 passes in sequence -1 through 20- as follows:

Tighten the bolts by hand.
Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm.
Tighten the bolts an additional 45° turn.

Upper Oil Pan Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification

Tighten the new upper oil pan bolts in 3 passes in sequence -1 through 14- as follows:

Tighten the bolts by hand.
Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm.
Tighten the bolts an additional 90° turn.
