Ribbed Belt And Accessory Drive Overview

- Accessory Bracket
- Bolt, 23 Nm
- Nut, 23 Nm
- Generator
- Removing and installing, refer to [For transmission(s) 0A4, 02E, 09G, 02Q] Removal and Installation .
- To facilitate installing the generator, slightly push back the threaded bushings for the generator bolts.
- Bolt, 40 Nm
- Observe the tightening sequence, refer to Fig 2.
- Bushing
- Quantity: 2.
- Bolt, 25 Nm
- Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor
- Removing and installing, refer to Removal and Installation .
- Ribbed Belt
- Before removing, mark the direction of rotation using chalk or a felt tip marker.
- Check for wear.
- Do not kink.
- Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT .
- Vibration Damper Pulley
- For the ribbed belt.
- The contact surface to the crankshaft toothed belt gear must be completely free of oil and grease.
- Bolt
- Always replace.
Strength category 8.8: 10 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.
Strength category 10.9: 20 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.
- Always replace.
- Bolt, 23 Nm
- Ribber Belt Tensioner
- To release the tension on ribbed belt, rotate using an open end wrench.
