Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor -V101-

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Torque Wrench (5-50 Nm) V.A.G 1331

Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to Description and Operation .

-- Remove the left front wheel.

-- Remove the left front rear wheel housing liner. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Loosen the hose -1-, remove the nuts -2-, disconnect the electrical connector -3- and remove the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor.

NOTE:

Press the securing ring to disengage the hoses.

Installing

Tightening specifications, refer to SECONDARY AIR INJECTION SYSTEM OVERVIEW .

Install in reverse order of removal.
