Master Cylinder

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Pliers T10005

Removing 

-- Remove the mounting bracket. Refer to MOUNTING BRACKET .

-- Disengage the mount for the clutch master cylinder actuator rod using the pliers T10005.

-- Place a spacer -A- between the clutch pedal and the jounce bumper and then push the clutch pedal as far as the spacer.

• Length of spacer = approximately 40 mm (for example a 1/2 socket)

-- Disengage the master cylinder -B- and remove the it from the bracket -arrow 1- and -arrow 2-.

Installing 

• Move the clutch pedal up to the stop in its resting position.

-- Install the mount -2- on the clutch master cylinder actuator rod -1-.

-- Place a spacer -A- between the clutch pedal and the jounce bumper and then push the clutch pedal as far as the spacer.

• Length of spacer = approximately 40 mm (for example, a 1/2 socket)

-- Install the clutch master cylinder -arrow 1- and -arrow 2-.

-- Press the master cylinder actuator rod -1- in the -direction of the arrow- until the mount -2- engages audibly in the clutch pedal.

-- Install the mounting bracket. Refer to MOUNTING BRACKET .
